Whey! I’ve started using this word quite frequently. It’s one of those things that started off as an ironic statement. And now it’s just a word I really enjoy. The same thing has happened in the past with ‘Lols’ and ‘Banter’. Awful. Anyway, hope you’re very well.
I’ve had an insanely busy couple of weeks on my degree (I do occasionally remember that working in URY is not the only reason I’m at University). Shows are going well though. Haven’t had the team on very much – Bex and Andy have been busy themselves. Maybe that’s a good thing. After all, we’ve only really got a term left of working together, and after that… Well, all in good time.
In the meantime, however, if you find yourself missing my idiocy on URY over the Easter, then worry not! I’ll be popping up on BBC Norfolk, working on-air, mainly in the realm of entertainment. I can’t wait to reunite with the legend of a man that is Stephen Bumfrey, and his brilliant producer, Thordis. I’m very much looking forward to delving deep into the arts scene in my home county – I’ll be spending my days watching gigs, seeing plays, films, and I hope to meet a whole host of great people!
Speaking of which, if you’re reading this and thinking ‘OHMERGADIMREALLYTALENTEDANDIWANNABEONTHEBBC’ then just give me a shout. If you’re in the Norfolk area, and you’re a singer, a band, you’re in a play, or shooting a film, then I’d love to hear from you. Email me at email@example.com with the subject ‘BBC Norfolk’ and we’ll get chatting.
If you missed the last time I was on BBC Norfolk, here you go:
Right, fabulous. That’s all for now, thanks for reading. After finishing this, I’ve got to go to a rehearsal for a play called ‘An Evening With Roald Dahl’. Good news everyone. I’m playing Willy Wonka. WHEY!
